Let's see, if not for him Van Jones and Valerie Quinn would still be in the White House. If not for him, the tea parties would have been much less successful. If not for him, the ACORN and SEIU influence would not be discussed. He's an alarm clock on our national debt and correctly called Bush out on all his spending. He's pro 2A and state's rights. For the most part, I see people saying "OMG Glenn Beck is retarded!" but never come up with a reason. And if they do have a reason it's because they either missed that it was a joke, or didn't understand the statement.

Now don't get me wrong, I cringe and his humor, or lack there of, and get a chuckle at his ADD, but this man has done more for America than any of you complaining have.

While I don't understand why 400lb Tubby McWaistline is in the drive thru at Pal's instead of on the treadmill, his mind has made the completely rational decision that a Double Pal and a sweet tea are more enjoyable than exercise, and instant gratification trumps future health. Everyone is also stupid in their own way. Most people can either program their VCR, change their differential fluid, or bake a cake (pick one), and they are clueless about the rest.

Glenn Beck is pointless to me. He's far too paranoid of a whiney crybaby for me. And on the issues we agree on, he exaggerates and uses too much rhetoric. But I understand that it's probably very difficult to remain employed in the opinion business unless you're hyperbolic/vitreolic. He just thinks he's in the actual news business, which is the problem, because he has no journalism training it seems.

I DO NOT CARE what the others are going to say about your post, but it is well-reasoned and quite understandable. I too respond more to the ones that don't resort to fireworks and theatrics in their delivery on almost every show.
