I just got word that these will be coming out and should list for under $700.00

I am very interested in this 1911 israeli made weapons are fine to say the least

I was just told by my dealer, he has no pictures yet but promised to send me some when he can get them, he was told this the other day by a Magnum Research rep.

Its made by IWI in Israel and its being imported by Charles daly

I understand all that, but IWI and MR are two different things. As are CD and MR, correct???

Dont quote me on this but I think for the most part CD and MR are both just importers for the most part. and MR was going to import the 1911 to begin with but now CD is importing it.

Ok, that is also what I understood. So basically, this should be the "Charles Daly 1911 thread", because magnum research will not be importing it.

I dug that info up on the Web, I will confirm this with my dealer next week to clarify and you may be interested that rumor has it that Ruger has a 1911 coming out as well,

As I understand it, all Eagle pistols, Desert, Micro are made in Israel and imported to Minnesota,

Parts are probably made in Isreal, but assembled in MN. That'd be my guess.

My micro eagle says made in America, Baby Eagle says made in Israel.
