SR556 failure to eject issue.

I have an issue with my new Ruger SR556. Here is the scenario:

When the 30 round magazine (MagPul Pmag) is loaded to capacity (or 1 or two less than) the first round fired will not eject.

The only way I have found to clear the rifle is to remove the upper and use a cleaning rod and tap it out with a hammer. The lip of the case does show where the ejector tried to pull it out.

I bought some cheap Russian ammo (Tula .223 Rem ) and that might be the cause however I am confused that it only happens with a full mag.

After I use this ammo up I will stick with brass.

Any input would be appreciated

Sounds to me like it is the cheap ammo, I have 2 friends that own those rifles and never have that problem, however they do not use cheap ammo in theirs

So what you guys are saying is....buy cheap get cheap?

I will man up and buy better stuff from now on.

That's what some of the Tacticool guys will tell you, but the truth is AR's are picky eaters that tend to need a lot of attention. This is just one of those things. A stronger extractor spring will take care of it. Then you can shoot the cheap stuff.
