AR upper receiver vise block

Anyone in the Nashville area have one and a vise? I'm trying to remove my barrel sans vice, which is sucking. Someone could really help me out. I'll even pay an equipment usage fee...

Or... If someone has some tips on how to pull this off without a vise I'd love to hear them.

You're not going to get it out of there without a vice if it was put in properly.

I have all of the tools required, just none of the time required to assist in this case. If that changes, I'll be sure to let the OP know.

The DPMS Panther Claw should be in any AR15 owner's tool box.

I'm also at home all the time and have the DPMS multi tool. I don't have a vice though. I live in Hermitage, if you want to use it just come on over.

Thanks a lot, you guys! I have the wrench, but try as I might I just can't get the leverage I need. I noticed this morning a bruise on the inside of my calf and as I write this post I realize that it's from the side of the upper pushing into my leg. I pm-ed you, RoboCop.

As long as one of your vices isn't luring dudes from the Internet to your house for CosPlay experiments... it sounds like the OP may have a solution to his problem. Thanks for stepping up!

Uh no...and my wife is a psychologist so now I have to ask her WTF cosplay is...and deal with the head shrinker looks she will give me...
