I was laughing because I figured out a tank of gas to Nashville and back would be way cheaper (and less time consuming) than going out and shootin' one myself...even with ridiculous gas prices. Of course I'd rather hunt though.

I think it use to be something like $40 to drop off a deer.

I LOVE to cook and the family calls me the Grill Master.

It will be 2 weeks before the processor has it ready, but I'd be happy to come over or to invite you guys to my apartment for get together if you're anywhere near Lewisburg.

I normally fix venison one of two ways.....

1 - I marinade the steaks in liquid smoke and italian salad dressing then grill them with some meat tenderizer.

2 - I slow cook a pot roast.

The ground I use just like burger, but I add an egg to get it to stick together when making burgers and I use some Regas seasoning or whatever seasoning I'm in the mood for.
