The Finest in Double Barrel Protection

Ordered it last week and picked it up Friday. Build like a tank with the best fit and finish I have seen on any gun. Current barrel is 3 1/2" long and will shoot either .45 long colt or 2 1/2" to 3" .410 shotshells. I have a 3" .45 ACP barrel ordered and on the way. Best thing about the Bond Arms is they have 15 different barrels that will accept everything from .22 rimfire to .45/410 and all are interchangeable. The extended grip makes it easy to hold with my big hands. Hogue makes a wrap around grip but I want to shoot it before I decide on that. Should be fun to shoot.

Yes, it will fire .410 shotshell and .45 lc. It will also fire .45 S&W Schofield. All three are the same diameter, just different lenghts.

I believe he was asking if it fired both barrels simultaneously. Not what different kind of rounds it is capable of firing.

I think he means it fires both chambers simultaneously, which is what it looks like to me as well.

It was my understanding that he was telling us that with one pull of the trigger, both shots would simultaneously fire.

you can load both barrels in either round, the hammer has an auto selector on it which determines which barrel will fire. only one barrel fires at a time. I think the recoil would be too much to hang on to the gun with both barrels going at once. Would be a cool sight though.

That's what my dad thought too or he may have bought it. Guess the guy was misinformed as to what he was selling.

Yeah, like all derringers I've ever heard of, you can only fire one barrel at a time. Has two firing pins but only one hammer, with a moveable nub on it that determines which barrel fires.

The Bond auto cycles the upper and lower barrels same as the Cobra. I have the older Davis in .38spl. Cobra bought Davis after they went under. I plan on taking both to the range next weekend for a side by side shoot-off. Waiting for the .45acp barrel to come in first. I want to see how accurate it is. Saw a youtube video of Bob Munden shooting a 3" barrel 45 Long Colt and hit a target at 65 yards.

I'm not too crazy about the 42.7 pound trigger pull period.

$420.00 new and $140.00 for the extra barrel. The quality of the firearm is well worth the price. These puppies are milled from solid stainless steel. Hope to have a range report this weekend.
