I had seen and handled one at a gun show a few years back. I used to have the old Raven p25 from years back. Nice to know the new models shoot well and are reliable.

I would like to add a Raven .22 to my collection some day. The manner of function is different than that of the Phoenix. Two totally different designs.

Actually, I'd like one each of all the "ring of fire" guns: Raven, Jennings, Lorcin, Bryco, AMT, Jimenez, or whatever. I think they are interesting. You just have to accept them for what they are, and are not. They are an interesting episode in mid-20th century gun making. And Jimenez today is carrying on the "tradition." I don't expect to get something "finely crafted" or "lasts for a lifetime."

My Raven was not bad. It always shot and was a breeze to clean. And it satisfied the first rule of a gun fight. Bring a gun!
