Whats the difference in the 2 mags? I get The American Rifleman, but I am the only member in my house so I can't get the other one.
Many of the articles appear in both magazines I was disappointed to discover.

I enjoy them both. They do share stories from time to time, due to their respected themes crossing each other.

Here is the descriptions straight from the NRA website on all three publications:

America's 1st Freedom

NRA's pure news magazine especially for our membership. Its mission is to deliver professional, compelling, accurate, timely and hard-hitting journalism that tells the truth about the threats to our Second Amendment rights.

American Hunter

NRA's magazine for outdoorsmen and women, American Hunter is the largest-circulation all-hunting magazine in the world, with over 1 million readers. American Hunter offers expertise on hunting all types of North American game.

American Rifleman

As the premier magazine produced by NRA Publications for shooting and firearm enthusiasts, American Rifleman utilizes the foremost experts in every shooting pursuit, just as it has done for the past 122 years.

Suddenly, my American Rifleman subscription seems so boring. The only chicks I ever see in AR is the skinny "Thin Is In" girl from the Walther ads.

But the Ruger 556 was pretty hawt on last month's cover. Man, I need to get out more.

But when you got a monthly editorial from a guy named Chris Cox and a regular article titled Dope Bag, is it wrong for me to expect just a little T&A in the magazine?
