Anyone familiar with Legacy Sports Citadel 1911s?

TGO members,

I saw a very good looking 1911 in a local gun shop, a concealed carry Legacy Sports Citadel 1911. The MSRP is $575, which looks very reasonable for what it is. I started reading about it on the website, and from their list of FAQs, and Legacy Sports apparently offers no written warranty whatsoever on any of their firearms (Howa, Puma, Escort, Citadel, Verona, etc). Now that really bothers me. A gun should have a warranty. They do make this statement, which, I think, is bogus:

"LSI wishes to nonetheless assure our customers of our continued interest in providing QUALITY PRODUCTS AND SERVICE to owners of LSI firearms."

Does anyone out there know anything about these guns?

I would agree on the RIA. If you are looking for a lower priced 1911, it's hard to beat RIA. I had always been a sceptic, especially since they are so inexpensive, but kept reading how folks loved them.

Finally got to shoot one recently and was extrememly impressed with the fit and finish and reliability.
