I took the kids up to Knob Creek this past weekend (again). This has

become a once a year "daddy day" for me and the boys, along with a few friends. I uploaded a few picts. (Maybe some more later.) The kids absolutely love it. Weather was great.

I have tried and tried to post pictures here, but the boards just don't seem

to like anything linked to my flickr account. :-\

I missed "the Creek" this time. I had a class on Saturday and a gunshow on Sunday. Next April, though, I am so going back to KY. To be honest, I don't go for the firing line, I go for the pole barn. There are often some good deals to be had up there.

For those who haven't made the pilgrimage yet, you need to go ASAP. It's only a short trip, and truly a memorable experience.

I always get a kick out of looking around myself.

The kids really love the old military vehicles. I'm always glad to see the dealers and shooters reaching out and being nice to teh kids. Last year a dealer gave an AR-15 mag bag (held I think like three) with a strap to my oldest when he saw hee was using his alloance to buy it. This year a guy gave them 50.cal bottle openers. Their faces lit up. Gives me a little more faith in mankind sometimes. Plus a few dealers was giving them candy as well.

I used to buy ammo buy the case there, but prices are so high now, plus there wasn't as much this year as I have seen in the past.
