CNN live feed was about 5 sec slower than FOX's live feed.

NASA link I posted above was a whoping 2 and a half minutes slower....

Yea. It was a test rocket. It's on it's way back to Earth.

Oh. It separated, went sideways, then the video stopped.

I can't believe how low pro this thing is compared to the shuttle.

Man I love this stuff...I remember as a kid living in Titusville, Fla across the river from the Cape, if there was a launch during school hours the whole school would assemble on the front lawn of the school and watch. My dad was an electronics technician and worked on the Gemini Program and early Apollo Project there at Cape Kennedy. I need to go down there before the LAST shuttle mission and see it LIVE once more.

Isn't the SHuttle progrAM OVER?

I thought it wasn't going to end until they finished the International Space Station, sometime next year. It will be replaced by the Orion in the next few years.

I'm pretty sure the Ares-I (the rocket tested today) is supposed to be the launch vehicle for the Orion.
