I've had to cut through some Lake City annealed brass with the last 1000 cases I did and I think that brass has actually worn down my tool. It seems a little tougher then the commercial stuff and I am wondering if anyone has experienced this or when you might consider replacing the tools.

I have heard that you can sharpen the Lee tool with crocus cloth in the slot of the tool. I stopped using the Lee tool for primer crimp and went with a tool I can put in my cordless drill. It is a countersink bit. Works well. Saves the fingers.

Is the lee tool carbide? If not I suggest it. Check MSC or the likes as they have carbide chamfer tools on sale regularly.
