Took my daughter hunting

She did incredibly well. Stayed more still and quiet than kids twice her age.

We got two tree rats. Hunting squirrels on a windy day is sorta like playing "Where's Waldo". Got both of these at about 60 yards. They were frozen and staring at me while their compadre was barking at me from behind a tree. Squirrel and dumplings tomorrow.

Squirrel is some good eatin! Your daughter doesn't seem shy at all about picking them up to pose. Keep her going for the next generation!

More people should do this kind of thing with their kids. Even if they don't stay still and quiet (you're lucky) I doubt many parents would regret the time spent with the kids when they are sixteen and too busy for you.
