Mossburg 500

I am going to purchase a Moss 500 from a guy tonight. I really dont have the need for another 12ga but for the price I couldnt pass. It is a slightly older model, wood stock, blued 21" with slight pitting. comes with 4 boxes of ammo(one box of slugs, two boxes of bird shot and a box of field shot) and a cammo carry case. The gun still shoots great and functions as new. What is a price that you guys would put on this package?

Paid $200 for mine, synthetic furniture, 18" barrel, full length magazine, like new. Personally...with pitting, I'd give maybe $150 for it, maybe $175 if I was really hot for it, but then I'm cheap .

well, I knew the deal was too good to be true! I was getting that package for $80!!!! I left my house on my way to go get it and the dude sent me a text when I was like half way there saying he sold it to one of his buddies! I was sooo pissed!

Dude... I had a deal like that happen Friday morning.

I've got my 92 Range Rover (not running, needs a fuel pump) for sale at the end of my drive. I woke up to let the dogs out, and I see a guy checking it out. I went and chatted him up, and told him I'd take a $1k for it. He counters asking if I'd be willing to do a trade, and mentions firearms. He has my attention, and names a few things. I tell him I'll take his Mossy Persuader Breacher, and his Saiga 12 (both supposedly new in box). He accepts, and tell me he's got to run back into town to pick up the guns and get in touch w/ a tow company. I get the thing ready to go, and he never calls. By 5PM, I call him to see if he's coming or not. He tells me something came up, he'll need to come look at it again, so on and so forth...

I guess the deal isn't totally broken yet, but I was psyched about my new shottys.
