Since Spuds became legendary for being the first TGOer to get banned while in the Test Forum, thought I'd post the coupon he usually did in memoriam.

Show is at Jacobs Bldg. in Chilhowee Park (fairgrounds).

I'll run by Wally's tonight, good thought.

Better, I'll sell the $1 off coupons for $2 each!

Fixing to head down to the show. Not that I plan on buying anything but you never know.

Well I did see one thing that I might have been interested in.. but not the money to buy it.. it was one of those reproduction Springfield Trapdoors 45-70's.. but other than that.. not much there to attract me..

Well, anything interesting at this show?

Prices are definitely coming around.

I bought 500 rounds of .357 Mag for .43698/round w/ ammo can.

One of the usual suspects got a nifty package deal on a dang new looking CZ 82, including some nice original leather, and another got a Hi-Point NBR (Naughty Black Rifle) with the new tacticool furniture. I'll let them pipe up.

I almost bought a spotting scope for $100 but didn't, and glad, as found out can get it for $55 online. :screwy:

Oh yeah, I got 3 P-51 can openers, little do dads I've had on the list for awhile but keep forgetting to score.

There was some ammo there selling for same price as the Walmart it was originally bought from 8 months ago, too.;)

Actually, saw some CCI Minimag .22LR selling for about .50/hundred cheaper than Wally's price!

Well I went, I didn't buy anything. I only saw one thing that really caught my eye. The Dragonov with the night scope. I talked to a few people at the counters and one really nice lady that makes holsters. I have been looking at a shoulder rig. The one I tried on just didn't have enough of a angle on it. But now she wants me to sell her holsters. LOL.

This is my find at the gun show yesterday.

HiPoint995TS.jpg

The Hi Point 995 TS. I have had one of these on my mind for a couple of years. For the last year or so I had been holding out hope for a .45 ACP version but I had finally given up on that happening anytime soon. They will probably come out with it this week now that I got the 9mm.

T & T Grocery and Sporting is always at the gun shows and they always seem to have the best prices. I picked this up for about 20 bucks less than I have seen other shops sell it for.

The forestock is an aftermarket $15 part that I bought from another vendor at the show. Makes the little carbine look a lot more evil.

OS and I put some rounds through it yesterday afternoon. Looks like it will be a real good shooter. I am looking forward to testing it some more this afternoon.

fixed it for ya. It is a fun little piece to shoot. Best of all is it did not piss off the boss when I brought it home.

Haha, no you're usually shooting stuff from the 19th century, so as I said welcome to the 20th. :D

Got to say that this show wasn't too bad.Thought I was going to be out of luck as I went looking for a 1911 and their just wasn't many there and what was there were over priced.I then ran across a NIB Colt Commander in SS I was able to trade for.

Saw a lot of good deals on Glock type pistols,XDs,polymer tactical type pistols.I think their popularity is dropping off some and revolvers and steel frame autos are making a big come back.

Definitely some fair pricing compared to other recent shows. Like usual though, the left side as you go in the doors was far to to packed and crowded to prevent the trip through from being miserable. The right side wasn't too bad.

If anyone is looking for a 03/A3, there is a guy wandering around every show with a 03A3 on his shoulder for sale. He'll sell one, yet he'll be back with another to sell. He's got some very nice ones at reasonable prices.

I bought a 1946 m44 mosin there, it is in ok shape 100 out the door no papers attached, this on is 40 inches long, my other is 48+ anxious to try it out soon, cleaned alot of the cosmo yesterday. not a great deal but not bad either. need a folding bayo, and a little tlc, doesn't have any #'s on it from being imported. the #'s on the parts of this one don't match though. I might sporterize this one since it isn't in great cond by any means
