Is Wal-Mart the rite of passage?

Get your HCP, head to Wal Mart armed, feel very self conscious...think everybody is staring at you because they "know"...worry sick that you're printing...put your hand on your gun every 40 seconds to make sure it's still there.....go home with a satisfied feeling that the first HCP venture away from home has been completed.

Carry every day, every time (it's legal) for a couple weeks and it becomes second nature.

That's generally how it works. Congratulations

Congratulations!! Now, if you're married, you need to get your spouse into guns and also into a HCP!

We both took the course back in March, but didn't get around to spending another day in line at the DOS, she went in early July and I went on the very last possible day or I'd have to take the course again. It took 1/2 a day doing the thing at the driver testing station in Franklin and getting fingerprinted at, of all places, the Metro Board of Education.
