Limited Edition Gun

I know most people's opinion is "why own a gun you cant shoot". I've always had a similiar opinion. with that being said my question is i've bought a pistol thats 1 of 500 made. Is there any benefit to keeping this pistol new unfired. it is the Ruger Kp345 pheonix edition if that matters at all. I had just a regular kp345, before i sold it to my brother, and it is a great shooting gun. so i had intended on keepin the pheonix edition put up and shooting the other one. now i dont have that option. any and all opinions appreciated. thanks

I wouldnt shoot anything Limited Edition.Out of over 40 Colt 1911's and revolvers in my collection I only have 1 Python that I shoot.I have a few 1944 Rem Rands but, have never fired one.

I have 6 HK's and I shoot the pi$$ out of them along with the Kimbers and the latest a 5.7 . I suggest putting that bad boy up and buy a gun you can try to wear out!!

Congrats on your purchase.
