I was on another site earlier tonight and saw that someone in middle Tennessee was checking in there deer online. Is this possible in all parts of the state?

If I'm not mistaking (someone correct me if I am), I understand you can check them in online only "after normal hours" of your local check in station. I'm going to research this some more.

This will become more and more popular.

The state of Arkansas has done away with check-in station all together. You can only do online checking. Seems kinda of odd due to a lot of backwoods ole timers don't have the internets. Should be interesting.

The same ones probably didn't do check-ins or have a hunting license either.:screwy:

I'll bet there is a fairly high % who don't report anyway.

I think we still need actual checking stations. If not I think people will say the heck with checking them. I know were I hunt not a lot of my friends (just one) has internet at his house.

Works very easy. I checked my doe in online. Just remember you must have a printer to print off your perminant kill tag and your new temp tag.

I am sure the percentage is very high.

I will be taking advantage of this with any deer that I harvest this year.

what happens when and if you kill more than one that day, how does the tagging work then?
