Providence 14 in Mount Juliet has a sign - "No firearms allowed" in VERY small print, over on the left side of the front ticket booth. Also has the circle-slash sign to go with it.

Entire sign has a lot more information on it, but in one small section is a half-inch tall, two inch wide part about firearms.

I guess no more movies there for me & my family until they take it down.

FWIW - This is the only establishment in Providence that is posted to my knowledge.

I live in Providence and have taken my family to the theater alot. I won't seeing any more movies there untill they loose the sign.

And Red Box. You have to leave the house, but it's hard to beat $1.

No loss there, seats are uncomfortable, $10 per ticket, and I can't pause the movie when I need a restroom break or my wife asks me a question... Just about anything is better than getting dragged to a movie theater.

FWIW - This is the only establishment in Providence that is posted to my knowledge.

Sadly I think this is a corporate wide decision on Regal's part. However, the don't ask don't tell has worked for me in the past. Honestly you would HAVE to be looking for the sign to even see it and even so it is not posted properly. I take in a movie maybe once every 6 to 9 months so maybe my chances of being caught are slim, though I think all they can really do is ask you to leave.
