Horror Story!

Just got off the phone with a friend of mine.. while he was out shooting last weekend.. his wife has a yard sale.. unknown to him she trades some breakers (boxes) off for 15 gals of paint. Come to find out from talking to him, that he use to have a electrical business.. and some of the breakers were 1000 amp breakers.. so in hence, his wife gave away a few thou ( 7000 thou ) worth of breakers for 15 gals of paint.. i am sure that the person that did the trade with her was glad that my friend wasn't around! The reason that he discovered this.. is that he was fixing his heat pump and was going to use one of the breakers.. and couldn't find any of them.. that is when the story came out that she traded them for some paint!

Man I don't think that I would want to be in that house for the next few days.. He was going to sell some of them so that he could buy a 3000.00 rifle from me.. now.. he is screwed.

I'd sell all of her purses, shoes, and that lil foo foo dog of hers too!

I certainly hope you are posting that in jest as domestic violence is no laughing matter.Let it happen to someone you love and you will see there is no humor in it.

Actually, it was in jest. And I have had people I care about suffer from domestic violence. But thanks for sharing your lack of humor with us all.

My wife, trying to save money and not buy some cheap rope to rig up some contraption for hanging her "extra" cloths in the basement where we lived at the time, took about 300ft of CAT5 cable and strung it up. I came home to CAT5 cable holding up her clothing.

At the last house just after moving in, my same genius wife, after being told to not touch my stuff I'd put it up after she moved her junk she put in my shop out of my shop, decided she would help me by throwing out the 55gal trash bag of cleaned and primed brass (44mag and 45acp) which was stacked in the middle of my stuff on top to not be smashed (we of course had to move in the middle of a rain storm thus the trash bag full of boxes of brass).

She's still alive and we are still (somehow) married.
