winchester training ammo? info please

someone gave me a box of the winchester training ammo. it appears to be lead ammo but not sure. i know if its lead i cant shoot it out of my glock. does anyone know if its lead or somehting else? i havent eve had time to look at the box i just looked inside real quick.

If you google "Winchester Training Ammo" there is a lot of info about it. It's supposed to be sealed and all, but as a rule, I never use lead anything. However, I don't think one box of this product is going to hurt your gun -- apparently from the google results, Winchester won some government contracts, including FBI, to supply them with this practice ammo, but there's no way to know what guns it will be used in. Why don't you also google this ammo and read some of the info that's presented. You could also email Winchester and Glock to get their comments. It would be nice to know if anyone on the forum has used this product in their gun(s).

I use Lead everything, but I have no Glocks.

If I fire one of my handguns it is a bullet that I casted.

Lead is nod bad, Glock rifleing doesn't provide enough resistance for a lead bullet therefore it goes a little faster & leaves deposits behind.
