I feel like bragging a little bit today, for the simple fact my wife and I have a new baby boy 7lb 12oz, born 10-13-09 @ 3:42 pm. His name is Deegan. Now daddy has a huntin buddy.

That's awesome man. Nothing like little ones. Seems like yesterday when this 5 lb little bundle came home in a shoebox it seems. Now at age 7, he's 4'8" and 72 lbs. But he's still my baby boy, my favorite hunting buddy, and my best friend.

I was @ the plinking range @ ORSA last night and there was a man there with his kids and his Dad (kids grandfather). The kids were, i guess 7 & 9 years old. He was teaching them to shoot and it was fun to watch.

It will be fun for you when yours gets that age.

Gongrats..........I have to say I would like to have a little boy myself. Looks like my daughters are just going to have to fill in for that boy. I will be teaching them how to shoot and who knows maybe even hunt.......we will have to see.

I have three, two daughters and a son...the daughters are both shooters (14 and 8)

and the son just started shooting his new .22 rifle (he just turned 4, on Oct 8th)
