My MUSTS on Halloween are to watch Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown and Garfield Halloween early in the evening, then right before my annual party I'll pop in Halloween (the original)

I always liked the silver bullet recipe from Stephen King's Silver Bullet. When the kids melted down their charms for the .44 magnum. I'll have to watch it again, but i remember the gunsmith explains it all.

1. The Exorcist

2. Anything silver belonging to my ex-wife, in case she shows up as one of the Undead. It would be... poetic.

Bump, cmon you wannabee zombie killers... I'll give you a hint...mold a bullet in sterling silver, cut a cross in the nose, drill it, inject it with a drop of Holy water and seal it with wax from a candle which burnt out in a church....what can I say my great grandparents were from the old world :D

I think mixing the two would provide one with the perfect silver bullet.

As far as Halloween movies I'm partial to "Waxworks" and "Waxworks II" They are super cheesy but I love them.:tough:

I'm kind'a curious as to how silver bullets are cast...

Silver melts at a little more than 1763 F, so you're not gonna melt it down the same way you would lead. And since aluminum and most common steels or iron melt at under 1300 degrees, bullet molds made from them won't do the trick either. Even brass goes all limp and wiggly at about 1725 F or less, so it probably won't work too well either.

So how'd the "old folks" cast silver bullets, way back when? Did they have ceramic bullet molds or something? And does anyone know where I can get one in .454 caliber? ;)

here you go Jamie: Hurog: Silver Bullets

Thanks.

Graphite bullet mold huh? Sounds pricey... So pricey, in fact, that I'm betting once a fellow has paid for one, he's got no silver left in his pocket to melt down. ;)

Makes me wonder where the whole silver bullet myth got started, since there's no way great great grand dad had a graphite mold stashed away, for those lycanthrope uprisings.

Allow me to learn you something here.

Zombies may be killed with any regular ole bullets. Also used for killing vampires is ball bats, hedge clippers, old records...pretty much anything laying around really!

Silver bullets(bullets must be blessed first) are for vampires. Also used for killing vampires is wooden steaks, boiling holey water, and used Lindsay Lohan panties (those will kill anything!)
