Yep, diesel F250 here.:P

+1 :tinfoil:

Don't have alot of performance mods though, don't want to burn it up. Put in a TS performance 6 position chip for better fuel economy, getting ~23.5 mpg in a '02 crew cab. :P

I grew up disliking diesels but tow a lot traveling to job sites. My employers have had a lot of diesels and I still didn't care much for them, but they served a purpose. My current employer bought a new 2009 Crew Cab Silverado 3500 Duramax, and I've been really impressed with it.

It doesn't act or sound like a diesel, but loads don't even slow it down going over Jellico. I heard a lot of horror stories about he Duramax, but I've got no complaints.

2004 Dodge CTD 3500 Dually, here... I love my truck, as it's my second diesel (had an F250 6-speed prior). I'm pretty stock, except the Bullydog Triple, set on the lowest level (tow), and my 4" exhaust with no muffler or cat. The truck will stay that way, too, because it's just too nice to mess with and/or sink a ton of money into (and it does its job really well).

I love your truck, though, Cumminsguy. I would love to have a truck like that to drive daily, chipped with a turbo upgrade. I bet that it's alot of fun.

I've owned the Cummins 8.3 and the Navistar in the Ford. I do not tow much any more so gas does just fine for me now. I do own a diesel Deere, though.

In about 2yrs. your thinking will change & you will be selling truck parts to buy guns!:shrug:

Truth.

I had a '94 F-250 with a 7.3 PSD, had it for years. Moved to an '02 F-350, crew cab, dually, 4x4, 7.3 PSD. Sold it, for a variety of reasons. Worked on more semi trucks than I can count.

Now I'm looking for another F-350 with a 7.3. No more performance stuff, though. Going fast is fun, but it doesn't get me too excited anymore. I just want to haul my tractor above 55 MPH with the radio on.:D

It's a lot of fun, with two chips working with each other its pretty damn fast. I usually turn one off for daily driving but I still have way to much black smoke. The 6spd in it is a really good trans. but it shifts are pretty damn long. Sometimes it gets old driving a 6spd diesel because you lose all your boost:rolleyes:

My brother is umcool911ok on tennspeed, and I use to see your supra down at the bridge when I was in highschool

When I was in the market for another half-ton, I scoured to find a diesel version but couldn't. I think that would have been ideal for me because I wanted to be able to do a bio conversion when TEOTWAWKI hits us.
