Dave,

How do you like the .223 pistol? Is the muzzle blast pretty fierce?

No, it’s not bad at all. I have the muzzle brake and have not shot it without it. I don’t think the recoil is as much as my 1911.

But it is freakin loud! And I wear full muffs when I shoot it. :usa:

I'm so jealous.... When you have so many you can't lock em up you have a problem.. you need another safe! :D

Well, my Glock26/19 are the main set of twins I have but my Tec-9 and AB-10 might as well be considered twins as well. My S&W airweight .38 and my S&W 19-3 were seperated at birth but occasionally meet up for reunions. Still looking for a 7.62x39 twin for my SKS thought....

I'm prejudice against guns that suck.

That poor lonely Mosin Nagant... out in the cold, away from its brethren, no place to stay...

I'd give it a nice home :D

I'm prejudiced. I'll admit it. I love 1911's - everything about them... So much so, that I recently sold a perfectly good, mint-shape SA XD45 with night sights on it, so that I could fund yet ANOTHER 1911 purchase. No less than 2 weeks after the purchase, I turned around and bought a S&W M&P 45 (which I've always liked). The reasoning behind this? I needed a "workhorse" firearm, to keep with me, that I didn't mind being possibly banged up, etc... and this was all after I just had Jeff at Hero Gear build me a perfectly awesome Springfield 1911 with some really nice parts on it, to be a primary carry gun. Double :D !! ;)

I am glad I found this support group, I was starting to think something was wrong with me.:P

I only this Mar. purchased my first self defense tool and already have 3, I am, in a week or two, going to pick up the Ruger SR-9 to go with the Walther's and also have ordered the PK-380 to go with the PPK 380;).

I mean like it all makes perfect sense to me, each has a purpose and since this purpose is so important each should have a companion....Right?

And just so I wouldnt appear biased toward handguns I put the Ruger 556 on layaway also. She is sweet and I am thinking now that She will also need some sort of friend to store beside her, I am thinking an auto shotgun would be ideal as a companion. It will have to be handsome of course:rolleyes:.

I am glad I am among other similarly afflicted people....

I am not sure there is a "cure" for this, and to be honest I dont think I want to be cured......:D

Fortunately, the therapy for this kind of addiction is simple, and is a wonderfully effective treatment.

You take this box with all these little brass pills... put them in that loud injector... and take another shot. and another. and another.:D

I don't have a problem at all. I love Glocks :D, they are perfect and I love them, how could there possibly be a problem in that?

What does one do at one these addict meetings? Drink beer and talk guns? I'm afraid I'd get worse. I think I have "the" problem but rufuse to admit it to anyone. I like 9's and 45's and don't think anyone should have just one. Do gun junkies get written up for being "over the limit" ? Do you have just one screwdriver in your toolbox? Hell no and you shouldn't have just one pistol in your range bag either!

SgtJoe...You'll like the SR 9. I haven't seen many here that talk about them but I love mine. I got it for a purpose and it serves it. I made my decision based on reviews and the 2 part NutN'Fancy youtube video SR 9 Gunning For The Glock did it for me.

No one expects a carpenter to build a house with just one saw. How can one expect to kill bad guys, birds, deer, elk, zombies, turkeys, cardboard, rabbits, squirrels, moose, pronghorns, etc with just one gun. That's insane. I figure that no matter how many guns I have I'll always be 10 short.:D
