Anyone know if Tennessee Gun Parts is still in business? Their toll-free number is no longer in service and they haven't responded to an email asking the same question. The last update appears to have been done in June if I'm reading their website correctly.

The automated PayPal website catalog appears to be taking orders but I'm reluctant to give them a credit card number under the circumstances even though I love their parts. Any info appreciated.

He is still sponsoring surplusrifle.com and taking orders for their CDs and booklets.

I read a while back his new job and family matters were occupying much of his time, and order fulfilment had slowed to a trickle. I think he's trustworthy and a good source; however, if you need something quickly, it may be best to look elsewhere.

In mid March of this year I ordered a Rock Solid Mosin Nagant scope mount from Tennessee Gun Parts (TGP). I paid by money order. The part never arrived. I emailed TGP and recieved no response. I sent a letter to TGP and recieved no response. I then tried to call TGP at the number listed on their website, but it is listed as disconnected.

I called Rock Solid Company and they told me that TGP is no longer an authorized dealer of their parts due to similar problems. Rock Solid has removed all links to TGP from their website.

At present, I have recieved no part and no response from TGP, so I would caution against ordering from them.

Wileycat, I suggest you contact the State Dept of Consumer Affairs and the Better Business Bureau. See what they can do. Another possible action would be to sue in small claims...

Just my humble opinion on options.
