PT1911 9mm questions---advice??

Alright.....I am considering buying 9mm PT1911 for paper shooting and to give my XDM a rest. I already own a PT1911 chambered in 45acp and absolutely love it (shoots as well as my Kimber Pro Carry) but it is taking a toll on the ole wallet. Does anyone have one or know someone that does?? I was wondering if it would pattern as well as my XDM............I think I would like the idea of paper shooting more with the 1911 frame over the polymer. Any advice on buying a 1911 chambered in 9mm would be greatly appreciated........

I don't have a 9mm in the 1911, but I do have 3 Colts in .38 Super and they are a HOOT to shoot at the range. If you reload, the Super is a great cartridge and way more versatile than a 9mm. Bud's Gun Shop has several available at reasonable prices from a couple of different mfgrs.

Just a thought ... ;)
