You can get a 23 at Buds w/ 3 mags for $359 shipped I think. Add a Lone Wolf 40-9 barrel and you have 2. Then a 40-357 barrel and 3 and on and on. I have been back and forth to the dark side for years. Sigs, XDs, M&Ps, etc. The only ones I truly like and shoot better are H&Ks. But not for the price difference.

If you want new, pay $35 to join the GSSF, get the $100 off coupon, buy at a LE dealer and you are good to go.

I love my Glock 19!!! I have heard you can burry one in the dirt for weeks and dig it up and it will fire no prob. Under water, no prob. Drop it, won't bust. Reliable. I ran 750 rounds out of it in a tactical training course....great gun.

I have had 2 19's. Put about 2000 rounds through them combined with zero issues. Never tried all that torture testing on them though.

The 19 is one of the all round best guns out there.

Baby bear would have been packing a Glock 19 if the 3 bears had been packing heat.

Papa bear had a Desert Eagle and it was too big, Momma bear had a .25ACP and it was too small, Baby Bear had a Glock 19 and it was just right.

The Buds used section had some used 17's earlier today, trade in 19's disappear fast.

Bellshire Hardware on Dickerson usually has the best price on new glocks.

Glock is the way... don't fight it.

My daily carry is a G19 from www.summitgunbroker.com - Mark had one for $409. It was a "LEO demo unit" or something similar... and appeared to have about 50 rounds through it. Gun was very clean, barrel and breechface were slightly car ray, and it still had Glock's copper anti-sieze inside.

Getting a used G19 is kinda like going to a whore house to find a wife....... just pony up for a new one...... It is sooo worth it.

As above post-buy a new one and if you do not like it you can get all or

most of your money back. Nice used ones bring almost new price as

demand is high for the 19&23 models.

If you can get a coupon that is the way to go! Almost like getting a free set of night sights.

I'm new to guns and looking for a quality gun and like the G19(among others)!

What's the disadvantage to buying used? Is it the LEO one's specifically or just used in general? :D

Nothing really. LE guns are usually carried a lot and will show wear, but have been shot VERY little so mechanically they are like new. With glock 19's the price difference between a used one and a new one is so small I always got a new one. One advantage of a used one is they usually have some sort of after-market upgrades that might make the deal a little better.

You've got to admit that you'd think the world would be a better place if you had the "Vader Death Grip."

love my 19. It hasn't been worn, since I picked up a 26, though.

I'm more inclined to the light saber myself. Any sword that can also deflect blaster shots and cut a guy in half is all right in my book.:D:leaving:

Yeah, but 2 things.

1. You can be separated from a lightsaber.

2. You KNOW that eventually you'd cut something off of your body if you screwed around with a lightsaber.

And yes, I'm now going to end my involvement in the Star Wars Dorkfest.
