Mini 14 questions??

I just bought a Mini from a friend and was wondering what they are selling for? It is stainless with wood strock, has a flash hider, and 3 30 round mags...........I looked up the serial and it was manufactured in 1982 or 1983..............great shape. Just wondering..........considering trading for an AR of some sort. Thanks for any and all wisdom.

$500 - $600. Some people are asking $650, but I think they are still thinking prices are the same as 6 months ago. Prices are going back to normal bit by bit.

I think the newer rifles with sn beginning with 580- are suppose to be more accurate. Not that the mini was intended to be a bench rest rifle, but it should be good enough for ranch varmints. The biggest complaint I've heard about the older ones was accuracy. I've been thinking about selling mine. Since I built an AR, that's about all we shoot, besides handguns.

I was at an auction last weekend and tried to buy one for $575. Some nut got it for i think 675. I definetly wouldn't give over $600 for one.

I bought mine new earlier this year...that's me shooting it in my avatar. I got the Tactical model...I have 2 20 round mags and 1 30 round mag...also have a Barska 4X20 scope for it as well as a Barska red dot site and a scout rail set up...next is a bi-pod

I will be working on mine in the future.............mine is bone stock right now.
