Upcoming HCP classes in Smyrna

I already have my HCP but I may come out and shoot Kalashnikovs with you guys sometime. You know I live a stones throw away from the base. How does a civilian get a chance to shoot there? I know Buford holds his "classes" there and I would imagine you guys must be Smyrna cops cause they use that range(I am friends with a couple Smyrna cops). But what about poor little civilians like me? I pay my taxes.......

Sorry Don, I don't know. Military range = Military rules.

I do know that if you become a State certified instructor, establish a business, get $1,000,000+ in liability insurance, and pay the range usage fees, they would be happy to let you use the range!

But you're right, it would be nice to have more outdoor range options in this area for us "civilians."

Anyway, we hope to see you at our next AK Operator course.

Yes. Priest Lake Pistol and Gun Club used it. I was a member, but the Guard got more and more restrictive on the use of the range(days, people present, etc), so I left the club.

But seriously, Don, I've got a buddy that lives about 10 minutes away and we can go shooting there. I'm in Smyrna as well and would love to go shooting with someone who has an AK! (Haven't had the chance to shoot one yet!)
