OK, I broke down and bought an AR and after several months of it and I just not getting along I traded it in on something else...

I can't wait to give the SIG 556 a try! :koolaid:

Maybe I can take off this week and go to ORSA to spend some quality time on the bench rest range... ;)

Tungsten. You can come shoot mine. We need to hit up the range again one weekend anywho.

We should get all TGO sig 556 owners to meet somewhere and have a shoot.

congrats ,I hope it runs better than the reports Ive read. Not very encouraging.

Hadn't really seen any complaints on the rifle, other than the cheap stock and sights (or lack thereof). I did see on THR if one is dumb enough to put the bolt handle in backwards or fail to secure it properly with the spring loaded retention bar, it may fly off during firing. It took me a little figuring, but I could see how that would happen if one was drinking when reassembling the rifle.

I just finished putting a Magpull PRS on mine and am looking forward to getting it back down to the range. so far, my experience has been not unlike this guy's:

FWIW, as of this afternoon, there were four of these Sigs at Guns & Ammo here in Memphis, and as of yesterday Classic Arms in Cordova had (at least) one... They were hard to find for awhile, but Sig seems to have caught up for the moment.
