A group of us are going up Saturday...:D

Unless something happens I will be there Thurs - late Saturday night. I havent missed a shoot since 2002 except the one that flooded out. We need to all meet up somewhere while we are there.

Just saw that it was next weekend. Never been but thinking about going with my son.

I've always wanted to shoot an M60. For anyone that's been before, about how much per round does it cost to shoot it something like an M60?

Also saw they had flamethrowers. What is the pay rate for one of those? Do they weigh how much stuff you burned up and charge you per pound? LOL

Goes up every year, I think $135-150 for flame throwers...

Machine gun rental varies by caliber. Seems like I saw something like 25-30 bucks for 30rd mag of 9mm in an Hk.

Is this anyones first trip to the Creek?

I've never been. Anything I should know except bring a bunch of cash?

Not 100% sure if I'm in or not. Really jonesing for an XD40 SC so that cash would go a long way towards one. Tough decision.

The XD is always going to be there, the Creek only happens twice a year. If you do go bring an extra pair of boots ands socks. The Fall shoot is usually dry but you can never tell about this part of the country. And if it does rain it will get muddy. Also you need hearing protection. Even walking around the gun show the .50's hammering away can get loud. I always wear eye protection too, you can never be too careful.

For what it's worth... our plans changed a bit.

Looks like we're pulling the kids out that Friday and

taking them to the show instead.

For any of you guys that are going. My crew and I will be "tailgating". Going to have hamburgers, hot dogs, and brats. We are always in the top lot on the left side if you are going into the range back by the wood line. We will have grill fired up on Fri. and Sat. You guys are more than welcome to come by and grab somthing to eat and shoot the :) with us. If you think you might swing by let me know and I'll bring some more food to grill.

Its in Knob Creek KY which is just south of Louisville. Its $10 a day to get in. There will be shooting on the main line every hour from 9am-10pm on Fri. and Sat. The gun show will run from 9am-close Fri., Sat. and Sun. If you have any intrest in black rifles, machine guns, military weapons, or suppressors this gunshow will beat any other thats out there. You can also rent machine guns if you would like to get some trigger time yourself.

Just got to the range. It is pouring down here. The parking lots are already a little muddy. Quite a few dealers are already here and set up. It's supposed to rain pretty good tommrow but Sat. looks like it's going to be nice.
