Anyone up for a fishing gathering?

My sister is having a baby shower in Hendersonville on Saturday October 17th. My wife is going and the little man and me will be looking for something to do.

Anyone want to get together at Old Hickory or Percy and throw some lines in the water for a few hours? I had to sell my Triton and would love to be able to take my son on a boat for a bit. I could pay some gas. Last time he was on a boat, I was fishing on the front deck with him in a carseat in the middle (he was being watched by his mom, dont call DHS on me).

Just thought it would be cool to meet some members and get some quality family fishing time in. I could bring the charcoal, buns, and chips if someone can pick a spot with tables and grills.

I stopped by to see when and where the fishing event was. But October 17... Not trying to put a monkey in your wrench, but that is the same day as the Second or None - Celebration of Liberty event, if you are looking to get together perhaps you should consider attending that. To my understanding there is quite a line up of people that will be attending along with speakers etc.

Sounds like some fun...wouldn't mind trying to attend. Haven't been fishin' in...........................36hrs. I definatly haven't had the time or chances to fish like I normally do this time of year so it'd be nice to get out somewhere.....

Where ya planning on goin'?? Have a certain place in mind??
