Aimsurplus is marketing a good-looking Del-Ton M4 lookalike for $669. DT makes good stuff and usually uses wilson barrels and StagArms parts. It comes with a hard case, sling, mag, and cleaning kit. Workmanship is always good on DTI products and they are really good people to work with, as are the folks at Aim. http://www.aimsurplus.com/acatalog/DEL-TON_DTI-4_.223_5.56_Rifle.html fwiw

I used a Del-Ton complete parts kit for my AR. My front sight is ever so slightly canted and I had to restake my bolt carrier. I would buy from them again because I understand that is why their prices are low. Buy it and as much ammo you can afford and break that puppy in! :D

I bought a Del-Ton upper back last November.

My bolt carrier was properly staked (I was suprised myself, haha). I can't speak for the front sight, as I went with a low-pro gas block... looks straight to me :D

I'll probably upgrade the BCG and charging handle sooner or later.

I had to send a new Bushmaster A3 rifle back because it wouldn't zero with the front sight screwed so far out it was barely engaged, so I guess they can all mess up once in a while. Your advice is durn good and I think DT's customer service makes up for a lot of sins too. Good outfit in my book.
