Flutterby is in training for her ccp. She is giving the guys a fit.

She has been shooting with me for about 2 years. Learned a bunch from her dad, so she better. Love her for it.

1 lady and 4 guys in the class. She's the only 1 that didn't ask questions. She scored 100, first guy scored 97, lowest was 93.

The borrowed 9m jammed so she put it up, finished with the taurus 80 .38spl. Not use to shooting double action was a bit much for her little hands. She scored an 85, but high score was 89.

She went to the range 1 1/2 hours before the class to practice. She had 500 rds. .38spl and 200 rds. 9m. After the shooting part of the ccp today, she finished shooting the .38spl. and returned the 9m with a full box of ammo for the loan. While I was cutting grass, she was tumbling brass and cleaning the gun. Said she would start decapping after dinner.

Ok, hcp.

Canebreaker, don't worry about it. Some people around here just have a thing about correcting people that don't use the correct terminology, especially the "newbies."

When I first got my Tennessee Handgun Carry Permit it wasn't an HCP, it was a CCP, "Concealed Carry Permit." It used to be illegal in TN to open carry.

Sorry Packin....just thought a new person getting their carry permit in TN should know the correct terminology and know that they dont have to carry concealed. I'll just stay out of the "correction" business from now on.

I guess i went about it the wrong way anyway....my apologies Cane.

Blame it on those who teach the safety classes, the place (where I took mine) called it a "weapons" carry permit class; others call it concealed carry permit class... Once the newbies get theit permit, then they figure it out!

Being able to leave work when wanting too.

Long lines at drivers license place. To pay fee, turn in paper

work and get photo. 1 hour 35 minutes on a 1 hour lunch break.

Making appt. for finger prints, monday.

Flutterby should have everything in the mail tuesday.

Now wait 121 days.

She's at home reloading what she and her kids shot up 2

weekends in a row. I reloaded 700 rounds and left a pile of brass.

The boys are 20 and 24, they both know how to reload, seems like

some help could be there. Both looking for jobs. I won't pay them.

I have my son's wedding saturday and grandson's birthday sunday.

Packing for camping trip and take her to lunch (fp) monday.

Seems like we're too busy.

I'm in southaven now, have to be in nashville sunday evening.
