Yes there is taboo on reloading lead with the rifling but after much research and load development I have the perfect load. Of course I inspect after every 100 and I'm not trying to get 10mm speed out of a .40. But to each their own.Reloads$4.80 factory$14.97+tax+ammo tax and possibility of them not having in stock Priceless:D

dont think its "taboo".. just the polygonal rifling in glock barrels will lead up something awful and require extra cleaning after firing. most elect to get standard rifling barrel for their glocks so they can shool lead bullets w/ the hassle.

I use any .40 brass that I can get my hands on . Federal small pistol primers. 7.0 Grains HS6. I had 100 Remington 180 FMJ and a lot of cast 180 gr lead all seated to proper depth. I inspect the cases at all steps. I don't care how shiny my brass is either. Just clean enough to get the dirt off and not dirty my dies.

Great reload info. I can reload my .38 spl. at start loads and reload Flutterby's lite loads and we can shoot all day.

Now, lighten your load up a bit so that you get the bullit out the barrel and leave the case on the bench.
