West Tennessee Democrat Roy Herron, running hard for governor, cordially greeted supporters at his Nashville fundraiser Wednesday evening in Hillsboro Village. He was ending a grueling campaign day that began at 4:30 a.m. in Memphis.

“We’re here at the Sunset Grill where I think the sign on the door says ‘Guns Never, Free Parking Forever,’†Roy Herron told Dru’s Vues, too in an interview. “The Sunset Grill is a great place and the owner, Randy Rayburn, is an awfully fine fellow.â€
