TGO title

So I hate to post this because it's prolly covered somewhere, sometime before but I've been very diligent to search like crazy and look at all the forum info and I can't find this answer.

Under our TGO name there is a title like: TGO Freshman or TGO Member. Some people even have a cool statement under their name like TGO Dave does. So how can that title be changed? Is it automatic by how long you've been a member or can I edit mine from TGO Freshman to something else.

Go to user cp link, click on edit your details, then look halfway down the page

When you subscribe as a "Benefactor", you are given the clearance to change your avatar "title".

It's one of the many perks of Benefactor status.

Or you can be like StrickJ and be disturbed (and disturbing) enough to just get random titles assigned to you by the moderators from time to time.

One of the things I like about the TGO forums is that I never have to ask anything because there is always someone who has the same question I do and when the question involves buying one thing vs. another there is always someone who is going through the same thought process to come to a decision.

yep that's why i hate to ask because the answer is prolly out there somewhere.... in this case it was kinda hard to find. lol i know now.

maybe a benefactor subscription is in the cards for the future. we'll see.

If anyone wants to know because I still didn't know until now... your TGO title goes from "TGO Freshman" to "TGO Member" when you roll over to 51 posts! This is my 52nd. hurray.

Yeah I guess the customization of the TGO title is not listed anywhere...except for here now. What causes the setting change from TGO Freshman (posts less then 50) to TGO Member (posts over 50) or TGO Senior Member (post over 500?) etc. isn't listed anywhere either, except for here now. Interesting.

It's one of those aspects of the community that I guess I never really felt much need to explain but I'll happily copy and paste from the admin control area what the various self-incrementing titles are.

• TGO Freshman becomes TGO Member after 50 posts and 30 days.
