anybody use this stuff? been hearing some good things about it. just curious to hear if anyone has 1st hand experience with it...?

currently using Breakfree CLP on all my guns, which was a big improvement on the Hoppes #9 & Hoppes oil I was using. my guns seem to clean way easier with the CLP...

have heard that weapon shield works especially well as a protectant/rust preventer...? just wondering if I should give it a try, or stick to my CLP...

thanks in advance for all info...

I use it almost exclusively. Good stuff.

+1

Used it for a few years now, on my handguns and long-guns. Very good stuff.

I have their bigger "refill" bottle (or that's what I would call them, as they're larger than a shampoo bottle) and have two of their pen-sized needle oilers that I carry in my range bags (just keep refilling them from the larger bottle).

I use Break Free for wiping things down but use Weapon Shield for lubricating the "works" of my guns. It seams to work very well and I like the smell too.... :D

I have never used that, but I usually clean with Break Free and then use Lucas gun oil. I was told they don't make the Lucas gun oil anymore and that's a shame. The stuff doesn't burn off. Does the Weapon Shield burn off easily?

I tried weapon shield on an M249 SAW once since they are notorious for burning off CLP within 100 rounds.

1,000 rounds later, still there. Never cooked off.

Now I use it on all my personal and issue weapons.

My favorite gun lubes / CLPs are WeaponShield and Slip2000.

I've been very happy with both.
