Montgomery Cty. Animal shelter to close, euthanize animals

Got this from a friend. Can't find more details, but wanted to get it posted in case anyone who can take a pet might get eyes on it:

Montgomery County Animal Shelter (between Radford and Virginia Tech) is closing tomorrow. You can adopt for free tomorrow between 12-4. They will be euthanizing all animals without a home!!! Go & save a life!! 30 cats and 80 dogs left. Please re-post as your update.

I saw the post and wanted to get more details on the closing since I've got a soft spot for shelter animals.

Something didn't look right regarding the, "between Radford and Virginia Tech", since I used to live in Montgomery Co.

Did some looking and found the following. It looks like the shelter is not the one in TN, nor VA, it's one in Texas.

My intent for the reply is not to crap on your post, it's just to let people know this is not the shelter in TN. I hope the folks in TX can come through and help the animals find a home.
