As soon as your pull onto Mall property, there is a ring road that surounds the mall. At every Entrance to this ring road, from an approach street A "THIS IS A GUN FREE ZONE" all firearms concealed or not is prohibited, and proper tn code is quoted along with the gun slash picture.

This tells me that any criminal knows exactly what to expect once he/she crosses the ring road. I am sure said criminal leaves their gun at home while shopping at the mall. The barney fife security guards only get a mag lite for protection. So avoid this mall if you are ever in Cleveland. Its pretty sad for a mall anyway, not much there.

On good note: RED LOBSTER in chattanooga is not posted.

I know, it's irritating. Don't worry, though - they have mall cop(s)!

I am thinking of sending an email to Sears to let them know why I now buy all my tools and lawn & garden stuff across the street at Lowe's.

I already sent emails to the mall to let them know that I would be happy to resume spending money there as a customer and explained why I don't shop there anymore. It seems silly that a mall that is hurting so bad for customers would automatically exclude nearly a quarter of a million Tennesseans. The Marketing Manager seemed to be interested in how many HCPs are in TN, but I see the signs are still there.

I don't shop, eat or get my hair cut there anymore. Since the whole parking lot is posted, I won't drop any friends or family off to shop either. If thy are going to keep those signs up, they can go out of business as far as I am concerned. I always carry, so I'm never welcome there....

I emailed Prime Retail Outlets, the actual owners of Bradley Square Mall some time back before the parking lot signs were posted. Their response was "That is their policy at all their locations, and the mall security at each location backed by the local police is ample enough protection for its customers". This is also a good reason we need to be careful about bringing up improper signage to locations. This email was sent before actual sign postage in the parking lot. The stores in the mall do not fall under the malls policy unless the whole property is posted.

Case in example. Hamilton Place mall is off limits by their rules list posted in a hard to see place as you walk into the doors at all mall entrances. It is improper by TN code. No entrance at any store is posted, so you can carry in any store that has an outside entrance, but when you go into the actual mall thru that store you can be accused of tresspass with a weapon. You still have a case if you came thru said store and did not know the mall is off limits, the end result is a warning and asked to leave. This is what happened at Bradley Square Mall, and the result was to post the property not the stores.
