Video Captures Alleged Attempted Robbery, Flying Tackle

WEST ALLIS, Wis. -- A man was arrested on charges of robbing a Guardian Credit Union in Wisconsin after a customer tackled the suspected robber.

The incident happened last week.Police said the man is in custody because he was tackled by another man inside the bank.No injuries were reported.

In the video, a 54-year-old bank customer is seen waiting for his wife.While he was grabbing a bag of popcorn, the 21-year-old robbery suspect, wearing a hooded sweatshirt, walked through the doors.Seconds later, the suspect, with his face covered, handed three tellers a note.The employees started taking cash out of their drawers.

Police said the robber collected $8,000.That's when the husband, who was patiently waiting, started moving toward the accused robber, finally lunging at the masked criminal.

Moments later, the frightened wife jumps and screams as her husband wrestles to keep the suspect on the ground.

Police said he has no prior criminal record.
