Recommended Posts

I am looking for a gunsmith who is good to real good with Marlin lever actions, near Nashville if possible. Someone suggested I ask cowboy action shooters, any of you have some recommendations?

What kind of problem are you having with it?

I'll be curious to see suggestions also. I have pre-64 Model 94 Winchester that will not lift shells from the tube into the feed ramp during action. It's probably just a spring, but I'm afraid to take it apart.

I am not haing any problems. Had some work done on it earlier this year and was not happy. The work was sloppy and it was returned with surface rust (it wipped off). Some I am looking for future reference.

Concerning tearing down the gun. There are a couple of web sights with very good directions. All you need is a gunsmith screwdriver set and some time. If you have never done it I recommend it. All your gun may need is a good internal cleaning.
