Belgium Browning "Light Twenty" Auto-5 value??

My burning desire to get an FNAR .308 or AR10 has me looking over my small collection to see what is trade worthy and I can't find a solid value for the Belgium Browning "Light Twenty" Auto-5.

The GunBroker, GA and Auction Arm sites have "Light Twenty" Brownings that have sold in the $1100-1400 range that were nicer than the one I have. Cabelas is a joke... there lite 20 gauges have sold at almost 2 grand. I could only dream of getting that much. Other extreme is trashed boat guns going for a minimum of $375.

Mine has been used and is a solid shooter. Some bluing has faded and there's a few small dings in the furniture but overall it's in 80 percent range if not closing on 90.

It was made in Belgium which makes it prior to 1976 and it does not have the round grip like the real early ones. Any real world ideas on it's value?

It does have a 26" vent rib with "special steel" marked on the barrel. No poly or cutts... I was told the 2 stars meant an improved(**_) choke for bird huntin and such.

Looks like $800 would be a good starting guesstimate.

Hozzie, Thanks for the info!! :D
