Hey all. Been posting here for a few days and thought I'd say hello. Born in CA, raised in Oak Ridge. Went off and joined the Navy when I was 18, got out at the end of August and moved back here. Look forward to learnin lots from you folks.

Welcome from another Oak Ridger (been here off and on since '54). Roger that appreciated service- even if it was in the Navy :D

Just kidding.

Yeah I saw the thread for the shoot. I might just do that. I better stock up on some ammo.

always a wise decision!

you never know when you'll run into zombies :D

I have yet to do any reloading, I'm waiting on Mark to get home so we can set up his reloading equipment, so nothing in the long gun dept except the winchester shotgun and the Mauser.

Julie will be bringing her .45's in the gun case.

I of course will be shooting mostly .22 *sigh* I'm gonna get schooled, I just know it.

Very true. I think I'll be alright with .223, just need a lot more .45 and .40. I think I'm going to get into reloading one of these days, just to explore a different aspect of the sport if nothing else.

Dang Tower, can't wait for you to get all the reloading equipment set up. I didn't get to shoot the M14!

Howdy from the tiny speck on the map next to Oak Ridge!

Hm...I'm debating whether I should bring the .30-.30 and the .270, or switch one out with the .30-06, or just pull out the Plano case and bring all three! I probably won't bring the .22 unless I swing by Papaw's before hading to the range, since the neighbors have caught on to the routine and are always watching when I bring in the quilt that magically rolls and crumples up in a cylinder.
