Scope lapping kit request???

Does anyone have a scope lapping kit they will let me rent or borrow. I really do not want to pay the $99.00 price tag but would be willing to pay someone $20.00 to borrow theirs. I have 1" rings...

I don't have one, but you can make your own for cheap.

(INCH) ROUND CHROMOLY BAR 4130N 1 - 41B-1 at The Chassis Shop

$6 for 6" of bar stock.

$1 for a 1/4" bolt and a couple of nuts for a handle.

$10 for valve lapping compound at pep boys, which can be used for many other things also.

I've installed dozens upon dozens of scopes, and I've yet to see a need for a scope lapping kit.

[Bad Habit]

I don't put a scope on without using one. After using one once you will really realize how off center/turned the rings are. It has eliminated any scope marks, too. I use the sinclair kit.
