Dear Members,

A good friend of mines sister is missing and I wanted to post the information regarding her disappearance in hopes that it might help generate information leading to her safe return. She left her home townof Port Saint Lucie, Florida, and she was last seen and heard from in the Tennessee area. I will post what I know so far, and will be posting pictures and further information as its supplied to me. This is the notice I received from my friend, and is all the current information I have at this time (will be getting more later)....

"My name is Rebecca Hartley-Woods. My sister is missing, and I am hoping someone can help.

Shannon was last seen in July, she was leaving for Tennessee to stay with a friend for a while. She was last heard from on August 8, 2009 at that time she stated she was staying at an address in Seiverville, Tennessee. She has not been seen or heard from since that day.

Shay is about 5'4" and around 120lbs. She has grey-blue eyes and ash-blonde hair. She has a few tattoos including a flower on her abs, paw prints on her right shoulder, a sun and moon and stars on her foot and an open heart on her hip. She has multiple piercings and a birthmark on the back of her neck that looks like a snakes head. She is 20 years old, very slender/athletic build.

She was driving a maroon 2005 chevy colorado pick up.

If you have seen her or have any information at all, please contact my self or Detective Bret Lagrega with Port Saint Lucie PD. I can be reached any time at ***Edited Out*** or you may leave a message with my husband at **Edited Out***"

I will be posting pictures and more information soon as I get it from Rebbecca. I ask all members located in the SE United States area please print the information and keep your eyes open so Shannon can be found safely. I have known her and her family for many years, and they are good people, and miss her dearly. Also please keep them in mind in your thoughts and prayers. If you have any relevant information, please contact the detective (Bret Lagrega) @ 772-871-5000.

Thank you,

Thank you folks :D I hated to sign up just to beg for help, but being that she was last seen in the Tennesee area and knowing how us "gun guys" are, I figured everybody would be willing to help :D

I do not have any details yet, I just received a very brief email from my friend stating that she had been located and in good health.
