My first 1911....probably not the last

I sold a few guns this week so I can afford a nice 1911. I had decided on a stainless Taurus 1911 since it was such a good value for what you get but I came across this beauty at a great price and couldn't turn it down. Any idea what it might be worth? It's in good condition with about 300 rounds throught it. It has a few light scratches but nothing major.

My kimber quickly became my favorite handgun. Possibly of all time. Definitely a better choice than the taurus. I have the stainless II with crimson trace grips. About 500 rounds through it, and last week I put a FMJ round through the 2 inch bullseye of a 12 inch shootnC at 50 yards with it on the second shot. This was very thrilling for me.

Nice, welcome to the sickness. This will definately, 100% matter-o-factly, not be your last 1911.

Regarding it's worth? It's worth whatever it's worth to you, but you can pick those up new for around $1100-1200

Nice Kimber, you have to watch it though, your right on the threshold of 1911-O-Mania-its a subtle disease,it kinda creeps on a person and before you know it-BAM-you have it,I know from experience, and the only cure known to mankind is to own more than 1.:):D

Lets just say I bought it for ALOT less than that. Not much more than the new taurus would have cost me.

Kimber is always a good choice.

once you catch the 1911 bug it's all over. It's even worse in combination with BRD. You would be better off getting hooked on crack, it's less expensive that way.
