Lebanon gun show

There is going to be a gun show in Lebanon this weekend, the 12th and 13th of September. I think it is being put on by the folks that have shows in Gatlinburg. I don't remember another gun show in Lebanon before. Does anyone here know anything about it? How many tables? How much is the admission?

So, where there any deals to be made?

Awful. Same story as sparta, only I think it may have been worse, aisles were too small, you couldn't move, A LOT of junk, and what wasn't junk, much of it was overpriced. I won't be going back, or to any other shows from these people for that matter.

Agreed.

This morning I thought, "At least I'll be able to stock up on ammo." Wrong. There was hardly anything there. My nephew found a decent Russian SKS that I couldn't dissuade him from buying. (I told him the Smyrna gunshow in a couple of weeks would have much greater choices).

We went to recon this show and found about what we expected. Not a whole lot. I did meet a nice fellow selling some firearm themed T-shirts, and invited him to come and be a vendor at the Guns & Gear Expo in December.

I saw him, looked interesting, but the crowd wouldn't allow me to get close, and by that time I was sick of the whole thing and just wanted to get out.

Glad I didn't bother going. Stopped by the surplus store on 231, and thought about driving the rest of the way. Saved myself the entry fee, at least. :screwy:

I was gonna go there, its much better than the show was, but there was a surplus guy right by the door, and I figured with my luck it was him, and his shop was closed. Did go the flea market though, and low and behold, picked up a mag pouch of all things!

I picked up some .50 cal ammo cans for 8.00 apiece. I haven't seen them for less than that at any of the last few shows I've been to. They're in better shape than the usual gun show offerings, too.
