After selling my two HK USPs last year, I have been looking for some plastic-fantastic love.

I have decided to make this my Tupperware of choice for time being...

Smith and Wesson

M&P 45

.45 ACP

Night Sights

Manual Safety

Army friendly coloring...

Nice lookin' gun. Wonder how it would look with one of the black backstraps on it....

I dig it. Not sure about the color, but I dig it none the less because no one makes an easily portable and completely practical .50cal handgun yet.

Interesting.

Anyone ever shoot/hold/see one of these?

Not the gun, but I've seen one of the .50GI cartridges... and anyone who says that .05" (compared to .45acp) isn't a big difference, doesn't know what they are talking about.

thumbsup.gif That’s exactly the M&P I want (only in black). I’m hoping someday someone will want to trade one for a .40. :D

Just interested... what made you want to leave the USP line?

It wasnt so much a concerted effort to leave the USP, since I had been 100% happy with their performance.

It was more about a focus on 1911/steel gun shooting.
