Not the gun, but I've seen one of the .50GI cartridges... and anyone who says that .05" (compared to .45acp) isn't a big difference, doesn't know what they are talking about.

.50 cal IS a huge round..but for me at least, its too large. I would get off one shot and then I'd have to do something about the bones sticking out of my wrist.

It wasnt so much a concerted effort to leave the USP, since I had been 100% happy with their performance.

It was more about a focus on 1911/steel gun shooting.
